YMCA Geelong

Important message about CoronavirusVACCINATION UPDATE 14 OCTOBER 2021

Due to the Government Public Health Orders issued last week “COVID -19 Mandatory Worker Vaccinations” our YMCA employees, volunteers and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated between 16th October- 26th November to attend a Y workplace.

The new Directions impact all Physical Recreation and Community Sport providers and as such some of our sport and recreation programs have been impacted and therefore we may have to alter our programs and timetables.

Please check your emails as classes that have been affected will receive communications updating you of any changes.

We are looking forward to being able to operates under less restrictions post 26th October with 30 Fully vaccinated participants indoors.

We encourage our community to seek vaccinations as soon as possible as It is increasingly apparent that without vaccinations participants that are eligible for the authorised vaccinations (1-15year olds participation has not been mandated for vaccinations as yet) will not be permitted to attend physical recreation and community sporting facilities under the Victorian Roadmap guidelines.
