About the job
The Y Geelong is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a passion for Gymnastics. The successful applicant for the role of Gymnastic Advanced Coach will be required to possess knowledge and understanding of Gymnastics Australian Levels Program for children 4-17 years of age and ensure all patrons receive the highest possible level of instruction.
You will be coaching any of the following Artistic gymnastics at ALP Level 1-6. Further education,training and workshops will be required to be undertaken to ensure professional development.

The Y Geelong Board and Management are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People framework. All applicants must undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:
- A national criminal history check;
- An international criminal history checks where applicants have worked overseas;
- Holding or obtaining a valid Working with Children Card;
- Three reference checks.
The successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and practices which include; safeguarding children and young people induction, annual SCYP training programs & committing to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout terms of employment.
