Gymnastics - Newtown Stadium
Gymnastics is about learning to move, develop skills and self-confidence as well as staying physically active and mentally challenging yourself to try new things.
This all occurs under the guidance of qualified coaches in a socially inclusive, safe environment. Our program is designed to cater for beginners who are looking at participation and activity to those who aspire to the National and even international stage.
Competitive Gymnastics - MAG
Mens Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) is the boys competitive program. Gymnasts have the option of training 3 or 6 hours per week and learn skills and routines in preparation for competitions. This program is for intermediate to advanced gymnasts and entry is via assessment.
Competitive Gymnastics - WAG
Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) is the girl's competitive program. Gymnasts generally enter the program via the Development Squad and then progress through the levels at either State or National Streams. Entry to the competitive program is via assessment as the training schedule can be quite demanding.
Gymnastics Australia has reviewed the WAG program and released a new framework for athlete development in the sport of women’s gymnastics.
