The YMCA offers a number of ways to pay fees for or programs and services;
Camping – Direct Credit Deposits are required and balance on completion of Camp also via direct deposit

Sport and Recreation Classes and School holiday programs - Fortnightly direct debit
All bookings require payment at the time of booking.

Why am I direct debited over the holidays?

Our fees are set at an hourly rate per class (ie: Ed Gym $14.00 / Intro $16.50 per hour etc). Fees are calculated by the total weeks the programs are offer per term (ie: 41 weeks over a year) and payments are processed on a fortnightly basis. Therefore the fortnightly Direct Debit covers the total cost of the term fees (ie: Ed gym $14 per hour x 10 weeks ) but you pay a lower amount over 26 equal payments. Payments are processed over school holidays.

How do I cancel my gymnastics booking?

You can cancel at any time. We just need the Direct Debit Cancellation Request form completed and returned with 14 day notice. Cancellation is via the Direct Debit Cancellation Request Form (located on this page) download it , complete all details and include at the top of the page the child's name and class then email it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 14 days notice is required. Insufficient notice will result in the the fortnightly Direct Debit being processed.

I want to cancel my children's gymnastics direct debit over the school holiday so I don't get debited?

You can cancel your bookings at any time by providing 14 days notice and returning the Direct Debit Cancellation Request Form. Your child will be cancelled from the class. Their place will be offered to the next customer on the wait list

I cancelled my direct debit at the end of the term but would like to re-enrol?

You need to book to book again by calling 5221 8344 during business hours, a new Direct Debit Authorisation Form will need to be completed. You are not guaranteed a place in the class or facility previously booked. The bookings are processed on a priority system of 1. Current members requests 2. Waitlisted Customers

What are the customer service hours to process bookings and cancellations?

Customer Service operates Monday- Friday 9.00am-6.00pm Saturday 9.00am -12.00pm* *No Saturday Customer Service during School Holiday Breaks. ** There is NO Customers Service from 24th December- Second week in January annually therefore bookings and cancellations need to be completed before or after these dates.

Why is direct debit the only payment method for gymnastics?

Direct Debit system enables our members to retain their enrolment in the Gymnastics program until they notify us they they wish to cancel. Previous systems meant that members had to re-enrol every 10 weeks and pay the entire term fees upfront at the time of booking. Members who went on holidays and forgot to re-enrol had their places taken by new customers. Our Member surveys indicated that they prefer to not wait in line or on hold while we process more that 1500 members each term or lose their place because they forgot to re-book..
  1. Direct Debit Payments
    Don’t get stuck in the queue or on the phone waiting to pay fees. Direct debit customer does not have to re-enroll every term child are automatically enrolled in the same class at the same time. If your child progresses to a new level or requests and new day or time parents are asked to contact reception and ensure that there is class availability.
    We offer fortnightly direct debit fee payments.

    Cancellation of payments requires the Cancellation form to be completed and return 14 days prior to the date of direct debit processing. 

  2. Phone Payments
    Phone payments for casual class booking, rookies sports, social basketball, Aussie Slammer (basic basketball), health and wellness programs.
    We accept Visa and Mastercard payments over the phone.
