About the job…..
There are a number of opportunities throughout the YMCA for positions on a casual basis for ongoing work, we are seeking sports coaches for the positions below 

Rookie Sports -  A multi-sports program for 3.5-year-olds to 5-year-olds. This program changes sports each fortnight and includes basketball, soccer, cricket, and football. Rookie sports is designed to teach young children the fundamentals of sport and get them ready for prep teaching them to follow instructions, take turns and how to play a team game.

Social Basketball - A fun Social Basketball competition held on a Wednesday night, this is designed to teach students how to play basketball in a fun environment. Our umpires, coach, and umpire the game. Each time they blow the whistle they explain to the child why they have stopped the game and the correct rules depending on the situation.

Basic Basketball - We run a basketball training session on a Thursday night teaching kids the basic skills of basketball in a fun, engaging and safe environment.
