A parent-assisted transition class that helps children move confidently from Ed Gym into independent recreation programs.
Ready for Rec is designed for children aged 3.5–5 years, this class supports children as they take the next step from parent-assisted participation to independent recreation classes.
This coach-led, parent-assisted program allows grown-ups to actively participate alongside their child, providing encouragement and support while children develop confidence, independence, listening skills, and foundational gymnastics abilities.
As each child's confidence and readiness grow, parents are gradually encouraged to step back from assisting. Once a child is comfortable participating without the support of a grown-up, they can transition into our Gymsafe Recreation Program, where classes are fully independent and non-parent assisted.
Ready for Rec provides a nurturing and supportive pathway between Ed Gym and Gymsafe, ensuring every child can build the skills and confidence needed to succeed at their own pace.
